About
Moneyisms is a personal finance blog, officially started in April of 2008. I am by no means a financial professional, but feel that through experience and insight I may be able to help foster discussion and new ideas concerning cashflow, debt and other financial issues. Some of the main topics I will cover on this site are getting rid of debt, ways to reduce cash outflows, and investment discussions.
What makes me qualified to write on financial matters? Nothing in particular - I’ve been where many people are, with $10,000+ in revolving debt (in college!). Through small changes in lifestyle and spending habits, and a little common sense, was able to get out of that horrible situation and am currently doing the most important thing - living below my means and saving religiously.
You’ll never find a paid post on this blog, as that destroys the credibility and usefulness of any site in my opinion. You’ll also never see any get-rich-quick schemes or MLM. There may be some topics that you love, some that you disagree with, and some that just make you think about finance from a different perspective, and that’s the goal.
Thanks again for visiting, and feel free to shoot me a line!
